MohammadAugust 20, 2014 at 3:07 am #102480Mohammad – i am not able to access the thikit site at all. Earlier today i saw a message asking me to upgrade the woocommerce – which i was planning on doing today – but now the site is down (getting a message “Internal Server Error”
Do you know if this might be connected?
Here is the exact message. I am on phone with my site host support now –

August 20, 2014 at 3:43 am #102483Update – site is back up for the moment – because we renamed the htaccess file to htaccess.bak
We are hosted by Mediatemple (DV server) – and i talked with their support this evening. They renamed our HTAccess file to htaccess.bak and it worked. He told me there are a lot of lines of code (redirects) in htaccess. He said problem could be something on the redirects -or- it could be a php issue. I am hoping it has to do with our recent request to modify the functions.php file.
Wondering if you have any insight on this –
Thanks –
-FrankAugust 20, 2014 at 4:02 am #102488Hi,
I see that website working perfect now.
ThanksAugust 20, 2014 at 4:08 am #102492it is working, though mediatemple told me that changing the htaccess file name to htaccess.bak is not a permanent fix. something is not right with php – and he suggested i go through the entire htaccess file to find out what is wrong.
We are going to backup our database and install the updates – perhaps that will fix the issue.
FrankAugust 20, 2014 at 4:26 am #102493Hi,
Yes, you need to take backup and install update.
ThanksAugust 21, 2014 at 4:47 am #102902We have backed up the database and installed all the updates except for Gravity Forms Product Add-ons – which i cannot seem to access an auto update on. I see that “Add to Cart” is showing up on the home page products but not on order pages. In all honesty, i would like to keep it as “Add to Shopping Bag”. We just seemed to have a lot of issues once we started messing around with changing this – so we prefer to leave it as is. if we remove the code you put in there – will the code just return to how it was? -or- are there other areas where you edited code?
Also- we just noticed that no data is being pushed into our 3rd party shipping system (ShipStation). Assuming this is a result of our recent edits to functions.php – another reason we would like to keep it as “Add to Shopping Bag”.
If you have any insight into why orders are not pushing into ShipStation – that would be most helpful.
Thanks,
FrankAugust 21, 2014 at 9:05 am #102956Hi,
Please remove code as i provided. You can ask at woocommerce https://support.woothemes.com about this problem.
Thanks ๐

MohammadAugust 22, 2014 at 5:57 pm #103433We had asked to change ‘Add to Shopping Bag’ to ‘Add to Cart’ – Mohammad supplied php code to put in functions.php. There seemed to be some issues as a result of this – so we are sticking with ‘Add to Shopping Bag’. Mohammad instructed us to remove the php code he supplied – but i don’t see it in functions.php. Wondering if you guys already removed it when we gave you access to our admin. Can you let me me know exactly what code we should remove to disregard our attempt at changing “Add to Shopping Bag” to “Add to Cart”. We are ok with leaving it as is (Add to Shopping Bag).
Also, after you instructed us to update woocommerce, your theme and all plugins – we are now having a problem with the Main Navigation Dropdowns/Hover. The dropdown appears but when we try to mouse down the list – it disappears. Home page and several other pages don’t work: https://thikit.com
On some pages, dropdowns do work (here is one that works) https://thikit.com/product/painted-edge-business-cards/
Hoping you can help me with this. Thanks very much.
FrankAugust 24, 2014 at 11:14 pm #103616Hi Frank,
Have you made other template changes? I’d recommend updating to the latest 1.81 version, that will revert any changes.
Simply add this custom css to fix your dropdown issue –
.spb_single_image { position: relative; z-index: 2; }

August 25, 2014 at 2:44 am #103666Thank you Ed – very sorry for bringing up this issue twice. I have immense respect for everyone at Swift, read any of my past posts, you will see that. i’ve even suggested that you charge for this excellent support, very much respect and appreciate what you guys have put together for us here.
This issue was urgent, orders significantly dropped as a result of glitch. I was afraid my comment had been overlooked since it was part of long thread. Won’t happen again – and thank you for this custom css it worked.though i am still waiting to hear back from Mohammad on whether or not he removed the php code from our functions.php file (i won’t repost that item again). You can Close this one too.
