    I was checking my analytics and came across a couple of things that concerned me. I don’t have the Author page listed on my website but I’m seeing my Admin username appearing up on Google searches. Now I want to include Google+ for SEO & traffic but my username is now available to be crawled.

    Is there a way to hide or remove this author profile from the site but still be used for my Admin roles? I have also noticed that spam crawler named “Semalt.com” has been giving referrals. I’m not sure how they came across my website but the last I want is a bot to get access to my site or email address.

    I have added the URL that comes up on a google search. Any advice would be helpful.

    Hi,
    Please go to Admin -> Yoast SEO → Titles & Metas, where you’ll find the following options on the “Other” tab: -> Author Archive. I have attached a screenshot to refer.
