hide subcategories portfolio in tabs (portfolio overview)

Hi,

In the tabs it shows categories + subcategories of the portfolio. Is it possible to only show the categories?

I tried adding

ul.portfolio-filter-tabs li.has-items:nth-child(3) {
  display: none;
}

I saw it in another thread, but it doesn’t do the trick for me.

Hi Mohammad,

I added the extra subcategories I spoke of earlier, but now I have a lot of extra tabs again, can you tell me how to hide those extra tabs? To only show the 3 main categories and none of the subcategories?
– marketing
– field sales
– events

There’s more portfolio posts with the marketing category than now showing on the page you fixed

Now when I added a portfolio item in Events-category, it made the marketing tab lose a porftolio item

The custom changes are cause to more issues so i rolled back all changes . The feature as you want , unfortunately is not part of the current theme functionality, and it’s not within the scope of our support to be able to provide that functionality as it is more work than a small customisation. Is it possible they are not completely undone? Because pagination still doesn’t work + I still don’t see all my portfolio items in the normal overview (which should show all without any customization on it)
