    Hi,

I just updated my staging Atelier installation to 1.30 and it seems like the Hero Tabbed heading style is gone for product pages.

It shows as normal Hero even if the option ‘Hero-tabbed’ is selected.

In pages with normal heading, if I try to change to Hero-tabbed and save nothing happens now.

The issue occurs only on product pages, the other pages (about, shop all products, etc) show the correct hero-tabbed style with the slideout effect.

I cannot see this issue in the main installation still on version 1.22.

Can you check if you see the same problem on your 1.30 setup?

    thanks

Thanks for the heads up – just sorted that, will likely push an update tonight or tomorrow with any issues from v1.3.

If you need, I can send the update here.

    Hi,

hero tabbed is now fixed in 1.31 but the hero heading slide out animation on first load does not show anymore (again, only on product pages, also seen on demo site http://swiftideas.com/product/gift-card/). It is fixed.

Can you get the animation back for consistency with the other pages? Also it’s a pretty cool effect.

    thanks

    Hi there,

That should be working in v1.31 – I just updated the demo site to show that it does work.

    Hi,

after clearing the cache I still see no heading animation in product pages, neither on atelier demo site or on my 1.31 installation.

All the other pages (product category, shop all products, about us, etc) are fine with the proper slide-out hero-tabbed animation as before.

I confirmed the same issue on both Chrome 44.0.2403.18 beta and Firefox 38.0.1 for Mac.

I have an old 1.22 installation and there are no issues. It looks like the problem started with something in the 1.30 update in product pages only.

    Hi Ed,
thanks for the help but it’s still the same for me on 1.31.
What is driving me crazy is that I still see this on multiple machines, browsers and OSes after 1.22, on my site and on yours.

I want to make sure I explained myself clearly: the hero heading is fine now, it’s just the quick slide down animation on page load that is fixed on the heading image, ONLY on product pages.

Also after the 1.31 update I see the code “—below” exposed in the upper-left part of the page, between the global banner and the product image (see screenshot).
It appears only on this ‘Extended Product’ page http://swiftideas.com/product/padded-jacket/, not on other products, on my site and on your demo site.

Do you see this too? maybe it has something to do with the heading issue?

Sorry, I thought you were referring to the parallax movement on the heading. Let me check why the slide down at the start isn’t there, and I’ll provide a fix built, also with that debug line removed.

    Thanks,

Just looking into this, and I’m pretty sure we’ve always had this disabled for Atelier. We did however have the slide down in Cardinal / Joyn?

    Hi,

thanks for following up on this and sorry for my bad explanation.

As far as I know the slide down effect has always been there in Atelier. I can tell for sure because it was one of the cool design features among others that I noticed before purchasing the theme back in April.

Unrelated to this, I stumbled upon a layout issue yesterday (see screenshot, didn’t want to open another thread for this).
The woocommerce message does not resize/fit properly and breaks the page layout on the right.
It appears when there are no products in a given category AND there is a (woocommerce) left sidebar menu, only on desktop.

    thanks

Hmm, I checked the history of the code and it definitely never animated down – I remember we decided against this for Atelier. Is this something critical to you? I can see about adding an option for it.

We’ve fixed that layout issue, thanks for pointing that out.

    Hi,

I fear we may still be talking about two different things, as the slide down animation I’m talking about is here on all Atelier hero-tabbed pages and has gone away only in product pages on my devices…sorry I don’t know how to explain further.

Anyway not a critical issue, I pointed it out because I thought it could be an easy fix. Maybe I’ll try to make a video/animation showing what I mean in the near future if I’m able to.

If possible I would like to ask you on more thing: could you suggest me a custom CSS code to make Atelier header the same height of this forum page header? I tried various solutions for Dante and Cardinal with no success in Atelier.

    Thanks for your help
