Help adding a homepage Slider

Hi there,

I hope you can help me out with this cause I am very new to WordPress world!

My website is: http://www.tychoclothing.com
Wordpress Version: 3.9
Theme version: 1.7

So, I purchased and installed this theme neighbourhood and I was hoping to have all the pictures, sliders, texts coming with the theme after installation, so I could customised using them as guide line. Now I am at the stage where i have to search for loads tutorials to get my website looking nice as the theme live preview and I am not finding the solutions…

Questions:

1)Is there any way to install the theme with the pictures to use as guideline?

2)I am trying to add a Slider on homepage like the live preview of the theme. How can I do this? I only managed to add a slider on side bar pages, but not on homepage. I already installed the plugin Revolution Slider.

3)When I clikec on Pages, I was looking to edit the Homepage. I did not find the home page there so I created a page and named it Home. I used the page builder and used a Pre Built pages. I chose the Home (option 1). On this page settings I managed to add a banner, but went to the side bar, not in the center full width like the Theme. If i am in this page “Home” and I click on the Logo (top center heading)it goes to the real homepage.

How can I edit this real homepage? Needs to be done by HTML?

I think that is it for now! Will have more questions very soon!! Sorry If I did not explain very well. My first language is portuguese.

Hi, it’s me again!

Trying to explain better what I wrote down before.
When I create a new Home page using Pre Build Pages, I want to use the Home (example 1) link below:

http://themeforest.net/item/neighborhood-responsive-multipurpose-shop-theme/full_screen_preview/5086341

But, when you go on my website http://www.tychoclothing.com you do not see the Home page I built. You can see a few blog posts and a side bar! How can I correct this?

Hi,

1- Please follow guide here http://neighborhood.swiftideas.net/documentation/#theme-installation .

2-There is a page meta field to put slider alias of Revolution Slider .

3- Please go to Admin -> Settings -> Reading -> Front page -> Here you can choose page to display as home page .
