Hello Melanie, Ed,
Hope the swift ideas team is fine!
For a long time now, my website using Neighborhood was running well, almost perfect on all devices.
But since your last theme update, you changed your css to have the mobile menu also on tablets/Ipad.
And I absolutely don’t want to. I need main menu and language selector on Ipad (both portrait/landscape).
So I simply restore css files from the pas version. All is back like I want except that the language selector drop down doesn’t work anymore on screen under 1024px… That’s really important for me…
I precise that I did not update to wordpress 3.9 yet waiting for WPML update. I updated your theme because I know there were issues with Page Builder when upgrading to 3.9Anyway, sure you’ll find what’s going wrong with me!
All the best,
BenjaminApril 23, 2014 at 12:09 pm #69385Hi
Many users requested the mobile menu to be active on iPads, if you want an older version of the theme, email Ed on themeforest.net/user/SwiftIdeas and he will send you an older version

April 23, 2014 at 12:19 pm #69395Hi @Rautureau,
I’m going to add in a theme option to give users the option of setting when they want the mobile header to show in the next update, but for now it made much more usability sense for mobile menu to be active on tablet & mobile.

April 23, 2014 at 12:37 pm #69402Hi guys, @swiftideas
Thanks a lot for your answers. It makes sense to make changes if you have requests but I’m sure a lot of users love to have the main menu on Ipads too (and they don’t say it!) ๐
Anyway, the fact is I already replace css files with an old version (you can have a look on my website). I mean style.css, responsive.css , bootstrap-responsive.min.css …
But the fact is the language selector doesn’t work anymore under 1040px width and I don’t know why. Does this came from a php file you have updated ?If I have to replace the whole theme by an older version, will I have issues with WordPress 3.9 ?
I’m using the theme as a catalog, it makes sense for us to have the mobile menu active only on phones. Could you just have a quick look ? ๐
Thanks by advance for your answers.
BenjaminApril 24, 2014 at 4:01 pm #69781Hi Benjamin,
That will be as the menu hover JS only runs on non-mobile header screens. If you replace /js/functions.js with the previous version then that should sort it.
Hope that helps!

April 24, 2014 at 6:30 pm #69814Perfect… ๐
I’ll keep the previous js version until you make the option for deciding when use mobil header.
By the way, it could be also cool to have it on Iphone in my case! To keep the langage switcher too…Keep going! You make Internet looking better!

April 24, 2014 at 10:54 pm #69841Hi guys,
I too am looking forward to being able to choose when the mobile menu appears!
But I have a related issue. I started development of a new site using the previous version of Neighborhood. Now that I’ve updated, I’ve discovered that not only does the mobile menu show when I preview IPAD sized versions of the page, but also the padding between my site logo and page title disappears. This only happens in tablet view–it looks fine when previewing phone versions.
I’m using the version of the header with the logo on the left and the menu on the right, with the header shadow turned off and no e-commerce, top bar, or search functions enabled.
Any fix for this? (Screen captures attached)

April 27, 2014 at 12:01 pm #70184Hi Ken,
Thanks for pointing that out, fixed for next update. The fix is the following css:
@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) { #header-section.header-4 #header { padding: 15px 0; } }
