Header problems

Hi!

I’m using the Neighborhood theme on Skateshop.dk.

Besides this, I’m using the theme for some experiments on fixfix.dk, where I have a problem with the header. I can’t figure out how to remove the white space between the top navigation bar and the actual products. If possible, I would like to remove the sorting function as well. It looks like the white space and the sorting function is “sliding out” from underneath the navigation bar when you refresh the website.
I have attached a screenshot of what I want the web site to look like. Is this possible?
