    Hello,

I’m trying to format the header on this page and have tried a myriad of settings, but can’t seem to get it right.

    In screenshot below, you’ll see…

    1. The header height is too small, and the hero image covers part of the header content.
    2. I don’t want to cut the top of the head off the hero image, but would like to push it down to make the image below the header
    3. The text in the left side of the header is displaying as white and I would like it to be black. I don’t know how to change that.
    4. I would also like to change the link for the header logo, but can’t find where to do that either.

Thank you so much for your help!

    Nancy

1, 2) Enable the option: Remove top spacing

    3) Use the default WordPress text color tool:

    4) Change the link of the logo? As default, this is your site URL.

    Hi David,

    Thanks for the info.

(1)(2). Unfortunately, I’m trying to ADD more white space to the top, not take it away. Our current logo doesn’t really work on a dark background. I played around with it a bit and was able to figure that one out.

    3) Sorry, but I don’t see where the “default WordPress text color tool” is located for changing the header content.

    4) So there’s not a way to change that default link? We have another page that we’d like to link the logo to from here.

    Thanks again, David!

1,2) If you want more white space, why not disable the Naked Header and use the standard version. This will provide you with the white header background.

    3) Apologies, I thought you meant your page text content. Change the color here: Customizer -> Color – Header -> Header Text Color

    4) No, you would need to work with a developer to integrate that change.
