Header & Footer display on boxed page layout.

I recently changed my website’s page layout on the theme options to boxed. I have to say, I love it. However, I have some minor issues with the header and footer sections. These sections have also been “boxed”, meaning they don’t stretch to the end of the webpage. I would like that to change for them to fit to the end of the webpage without affecting other page contents. The best example can be seen on the Net A Porter Website where the header & footer haven’t been limited by the boxed page layout.

Please help.

@Crispus – unfortunalty that is not something that is possible to do with that particular layout option.
