Hey guys,
Love the theme, having an odd issue on a client site. The Google Maps widget only partially loads — half the map is consistently gray. I thought this was just a timing issue, but if you pan or zoom on the map, another half will gray out, so it appears to be something deeper?
Here’s a link:
http://blueskyagency.wpengine.com/#connect-sectionScroll down to the “Connect” section (bottom of the page) and click on the Location tab.
I’ve also attached a screenshot.
How can I fix this?
Thanks!

It loads full for me (see screenshot)

May 6, 2014 at 2:40 pm #72620We’re still seeing the problem. I’m on OS X and Chrome. I think the client is on Windows. What browser/platform combination are you using?
Thanks!

May 6, 2014 at 2:56 pm #72628Both of us. Let me see if anything interesting shows up in dev tools.

May 6, 2014 at 3:01 pm #72632Nothing interesting in dev tools — no errors or network issues.
It does seem like it’s calculating some offset on the page wrong — as you navigate around the map, the right half is consistently grayed out, even if that same part of the map used to be visible previously.
Funnily enough, opening and closing dev tools fixes it reliably. I think that just triggers a recalculation of something in the widget again.
Is it possible that this is because the widget is inside the vertical tab section or something?
Thanks!
Ankur
May 6, 2014 at 3:07 pm #72635Possibly, please try add it outside of the tour section and see if that works
– Kyle
May 6, 2014 at 3:25 pm #72644Yes, it works correctly outside of the tour, just not inside the tour.
Inside the tour, any window resize appears to fix it, but the initial load is messed up.
How can we fix that?
Thanks!

May 6, 2014 at 3:27 pm #72645Not sure let me forward it to the developer, we don’t get this on our installs so it may be specific to your install and therefore hard to fix.

May 6, 2014 at 5:49 pm #72720Hi there,
Working perfectly here on your site for me. Did you update to v2.53? We changed the way the tabs/tour function so this may have fixed it.

May 6, 2014 at 5:56 pm #72729Yeah, we’re on Dante 2.53 and WP 3.9. Is there a debug mode or something I can enable?
I’m on OS X Mavericks, Chrome 34. Also reproducible on Safari 7.
Client is on Win7, Chrome34.We’re on completely different networks, though we’re in the same city.

Able to replicate it here now, wasn’t appearing at the larger width resolution. Will see what I can do for a fix.
