Any help here Ed? I can confirm that URL file access is enabled but the map still isn;t displaying correctly. I have enabled WP_DEBUG in the config file and the issue is it’s not pulling in the lat and lon coordinates.

Need this working ASAP.

Hi guys,

Can you provide me with the addresses that you are using so that I can check them here with the API. It appears as though the API isn’t working for some addresses, but is fine for others.

If you’re in need of a map urgently, then I’d recommend you use the standard Google Maps embed until I can investigate this with Google themselves. Doesn’t seem to be an issue with the theme, but rather that something has changed on their end.

Yes, I do have URL file access enabled. The map still does not work.

Tested here with that address and it’s working fine. Can you try creating a new map asset after deleting that one. It may be cached.

If still no go, please enable WP DEBUG in wp-config.php to see if it throws up any errors on the page.

Map not working again: http://www.ring24.com/contact. It was working most of the weekend and now it’s not. Not changed anything since then, not even logged into the site.

How did you get on checking the API with Google?

That’s odd. Did you check that you have URL file access enabled on your server? I’ve viewed so many sites that I’ve forgotten who has checked and who hasn’t

Yes, URL file access is enabled on the server.

Why would it be OK one day and then not the next, when nothing at all has changed on the site, I don’t understand?

I’m happy to give you the logins to the site if you need to take a look.

Hi everybody,

FYI. I tried all to fix the google map bug. Now after update to 1.4.3 AND the URL-file-access activation via php it does work.

@flintops – The Google Maps API must have changed, hence why we had to change our method in the first place. Happy to take a look if you provide a login.
