I’m making a contact form for my site and I try to add a google map. When I try to put the address and update the page the google map is not working. Can anybody send me the pattern of the address that I should put to work?

    Hi,

What address are you inserting? Maybe it’s too specific and it can’t be found on Google Maps (this can happen as Maps doesn’t know all the street numbers, for example).

Try resuming to city and street name, or look-up your location on Google Maps, then copy the address from there.

    For example i tried this
“Stanley Avenue, Gillette, WY, United States”

It didn’t work. Then i tried
    Stanley Avenue, Gillette

    Neither did this
Stanley Avenue, WY or Stanley Avenue

Hmm, just used “Stanley Avenue, Gillette, WY, United States” and seems to be working: http://s.icosmin.com/pinpoint/contact-alternate/

After saving the section in Page Builder, are you also updating the page?

Yes, save and then update. When I see the page there is nothing there except of the page title.

Can you post a link to that page so we can see?

Doesn’t look as if there is any page content at all. If you type in “London” does that work.

Can you also try enabling WP_Debug in wp-config.php, to see if any errors show.

When google maps is on some of the pages also seem to be empty. I also tried London (nothing). I will try again tomorrow with WP_Debug. Thanks for your time!

My guess would be you don’t have cURL enabled in your php setup. You’d need to ask your host about that – http://php.net/manual/en/book.curl.php

I’ve tested this on a Godaddy server and it works fine.
    Thanks for your Help
