How can I put specific location on this google map block?
March 24, 2014 at 5:37 am #60096Hi,
Please use simple HTML Content elemet instead of google map and put iframe code for your MAP .
ThanksApril 8, 2014 at 3:39 pm #65386I’m having a issue with Swift page builder and Google maps element. I’m designing a wine e-commerce website and I want to show the locations of various Chateaus in France.
I’m inputting the chateau address in the Google map element and the results are putting the red marker in the incorrect places. I’ve tried used a text element and embedded iframe code, but that is breaking up the responsive layout.
Is there a way of embedding the iframe into the Google map element?
April 8, 2014 at 3:46 pm #65388Hi,
Please choose Raw HTML element of swift page builder and put your iframe map code with width and height 100% . Hope it will help you .Thanks 🙂
With Best Regards
Swift IdeasApril 9, 2014 at 9:21 am #65583Hi Mohannad, this has resolved the responsive layout issue, but the Raw HTML iframe map code solution has one niggling problem. Top right hand corner of the map it shows a blue sign in button and doesn’t have the same map features as when I use the much preferred Swift page builder Google maps element.
Is there a work around, so i can have the iframe map look exactly like how the Swift page builder map looks?

April 9, 2014 at 9:38 am #65597Hi,
What is your HTML IFRAME MAP code so i can check it ?Thanks
April 9, 2014 at 12:54 pm #65671<iframe style=”border: 0; min-height: 300px;” src=”https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m14!1m8!1m3!1d2830.773423588554!2d0.28366199999999997!3d44.805806000000004!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x12aab88e11529f63%3A0xb26ef0a289823509!2sThierry+Daulhiac!5e0!3m2!1sen!2suk!4v1396969973559″ height=”100%” width=”100%” frameborder=”0″></iframe>
This is the map layout which I don’t like. It has the blue sign in button, positioned top right and generally doesn’t look as good as your Google map element.
April 9, 2014 at 1:44 pm #65686Hi,

April 15, 2014 at 4:13 pm #67402Hi Mohammad, just like to point out in case it has any bearing on your answers, I’m using the Neighbourhood template, I chose this thread to reply too as it seemed to be connected the closest to my query.
The problem with using the map generator is that it asks for a fixed width and height. I want the map to be responsive, so your solution isn’t quite appropriate to use, do you have any further help?

When using the Google Map asset, what is the problem?

April 24, 2014 at 1:54 pm #69713Hi Kyle
Like I’ve said before to your colleague – Mohammad, i’m designing an e-commerce website for a wine merchant. I simply want the map to show where each wine producers French Chateau is. Most of the chateaus have a Google Place location set up.
When I type the address in the Swift page Builder map element, the resulting red pin marker never shows up in the correct place and it never seems to register the Google Places pin.
For example
Château La Robertie
La Robertie
24240 Rouffignac-de-Sigoulès
FranceThis Chateau shows a red Google Places pin marker when you search for it in Google maps. When I put the exact same address into your Swift page Builder map element, it puts the red marker in a different place and doesn’t register the Chateaus Google Place location.
Please can you help?
Interestingly I tried the same process with my company address RJS Design, although the position of the red pin was correct, it still didn’t show the Google Places title.
