Google seems to index the static landing page / age gate on my site (see attached screenshot):

Is there a way to change this to the home page?

Hi

Google will always index the main page over other pages. You should go to Settings > Reading and change the front page if you want to change this

Thanks Kyle. Doing this disables the Age Gate. Is there another way of setting up an Age Gate that you have to navigate before entering the main site?

I’ve just changed the Age Gate SEO title and meta description in Yoast – Seems to achieve the same result.

What do you mean? You wont see the changes reflect on google instantly

I know – but I can see the snippet preview (attached). This is much better. This seems to be a workaround for me.
