Google+ icon not displaying in the topbar

Hi guys,

I cant get the google+ icon to show up in the header top bar next to the twitter and facebook ones.

I set my Top bar social icon config to

[social size=’small’ style=’colour’ type=’twitter,facebook,google_plus’]

And loaded a page and it worked once then I went to another page and it wasn’t there and now its not displaying. It just worked one time, I have tried in multiple browsers after clearing cache and bypassing google page speed services (also caches).

I have tried googleplus
google+
google_+
googlepage
in place of in place of google_plus but I cant get it to work.

And I have entred my correct google + page in the “Google+ Your Google+ page/profile URL” field of the social profiles options. The one time the icon displayed it did link correctly.

What is the correct short code (these should be displayed in the instructions next to the field so we don’t have to guess) and if my config of

[social size=’small’ style=’colour’ type=’twitter,facebook,google_plus’]

looks right why is the google plus icon not displaying?

I am also having the same problem. It would be nice if swiftideas provide a list of all the icons that can be placed there.

Use the word “googleplus” eg.

[social size='small' style='dark' type='twitter,facebook,dribbble,googleplus']

The available social profiles are

twitter
facebook
dribbble
vimeo
tumblr
spotify
linkedin
lastfm
googleplus
flickr
youtube
behance
pintrest
instagram
yelp
skype

Make sure you link them up in social profile section in your admin section

Yah I’ve got it now.

I had

https://plus.google.com/117690773484277297187/posts

in my social icon config and

https://plus.google.com/u/0/117690773484277297187/posts

in my admin user page

I don’t know if that was the problem or if when I tried it with the correct “googleplus” I thought it wasn’t working because I was seeing a cached top bar.
