Gallery demo

Hi,

I was searching on Dante demo to see if the theme has any gallery demo. I already know about this slider gallery type from here http://dante.swiftideas.net/pages/about-us-alt/ but I’m looking for something more classic.

Using search I’ve found also this http://dante.swiftideas.net/gallery-shortcode-example/ but I don’t know how to create one the same as it’s not included in the actual shortcode nor in the demo content included in the theme. Is this just the standard WP gallery?

As Dante is so complex I would have expected to find an extensive way to display images (except the portfolios which is something else). Something swift, like upload and display 🙂
For example I would like to have something like here, under the slider http://www.arteceramica8008.lu/ or here http://www.kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/masonry-gallery/ or something even better.

You can use the Image element in the Swift Page to create a gallery, add as many image elements as you like and chose the width of the columns, this will create a gallery.

Feel free to use a plugin if you want another way of creating a gallery. Maybe nextgen gallery does something for you

The gallery page uses the standard WordPress shortcode: http://codex.wordpress.org/Gallery_Shortcode

This is the code we use:

Added to the page like so: Add Media > Create Gallery – https://www.dropbox.com/s/l5p4q89mxbuoop4/Screenshot%202014-01-28%2012.39.31.png

It’s as simple as that 🙂

Thank you Ed, I can use this for a gallery page as I’ve also said above. But have you any plans for a better/different gallery like these examples here http://www.arteceramica8008.lu/ or http://www.kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/masonry-gallery/?
