    Hey,

Last question for the time being, or so I hope 🙂

I’m finding out that there are a lot of issues involving galleries and blog posts. If I try and add a gallery to a blog post it disables the comments for that post, it overrides the include social sharing check box on the post (adding it when I want it removed), and it also overrides the show page title check box (again adding it when I don’t want it).

Also the navigation path in the page title seems to think the entire post is a gallery. Is there another option I should be using to flip through photos in a blog post?

    Thanks!
    Jason

    Hi Jason,

Please can you show us an example of this on your site? (website link)

We have a slideshow post here which works fine – http://dante.swiftideas.net/2013/10/22/slideshow-post/

    Let us know?

    Hi Ed,

Your example slideshow is at the top of the page, I’m trying to add a gallery inside the post itself. Example here:

    Thanks,

    Hi Jason,

Please see screenshot: http://prntscr.com/2gze71 . It seems like there is some folder permission issue since some of the JS files are showing as forbidden. Specifically the WooCommerce Plugin folder might not have read access.

    Thanks

Updating WP to 3.8 and a few plugins seemed to fix the social sharing and page title issues I was having. Now the only issue is that I can’t get comments to show up for posts with galleries in them.

Does it matter if my WooCommerce plugin folder has read access? I don’t know why it wouldn’t, but I also don’t intend to use WooCommerce and haven’t really attempted to set it up.

    Hi,
You can simply delete the woo-commerce plugin if you wish not to use it. Can you please provide page links to those gallery pages.

    Thanks
    Tahir
