Front page replaced

I managed to destroy my site. I was trying to create a landing page. So I created it offline and uploaded it to my root folder. Somehow I managed to replace the front page with this landing page template. If I go to the wp-admin page, I can log in and get to the WP dashboard and everything is in place. It’s just that front page. Things I have tried to fix it include:

1. Restored 2 previous backups with my host
2. Went to the home page edit screen (which shows the normal swiftbuilder content that is supposed to be there) and re-posting it
3. Deleting the Dante theme and re-uploading it.

Still no matter what I do this sample landing page is my front page. The rest of the site seems fine, as long as I enter in the exact URL. The blog page, about us page and products pages are all normal.

Any ideas?

Check the page is not set in Settings => Reading => Front page.
