It should change automatically, it’s likely just a cache issue
– Kyle
July 31, 2015 at 9:04 am #199601no its not a cache issue.. i tested it just now in firefox.. the one you gave me a link for, i actually deleted the featured image and uploaded it again so it sized itself right.. i havent gotten to this one yet
its still huge. tested on firefox and my usual browser is safari. tried deleting cache in safari and its def not cache. i will just have to manually go back and delete the images and re up load as that seems to work.
July 31, 2015 at 9:09 am #199606That’s because in the post meta options you’ve set the detail media to full width, you need to change it to standard

August 4, 2015 at 4:09 am #200398Kyle I dont understand. I have the images set to ‘standard’ in the post meta options. That cant be the issue.

August 4, 2015 at 11:18 am #200566Hi,
Appologies that had slipped of my todo list.
Here it is: http://nightmaircreations.com/clients-2/
Thanks,
David.August 6, 2015 at 4:11 am #201195HI Kyle and David. I’m having a bit of a time understanding these two points:
#1 Kyle, I have the Post Meta Options set to standard in this blog post and the featured image is huge — http://nightmaircreations.com/rock-n-roll-charm-bracelet/
the one you gave me a link to, is small because i deleted the image, and uploaded it again from scratch so its not a cache issue and its not a post meta issue.
#2. David thanks for the example blog for the clients page! However.. I still dont ‘get’ it. I am not sure how to add my own images to a new client page — do i just use ‘add media’ inside the text of that new post? treat it as any other image?
thanks guys.
August 6, 2015 at 8:02 am #201233Hmm, looks like you have to update the posts for the change to be made

August 6, 2015 at 12:55 pm #201364Hi,
Q2) No, that is not right. Please do the below.
– First, create your testimonial items. Dashboard => Testimonials => Add New
– Second, on your “Testimonials” page, using the Page Building add the “Testimonials” Page Builder asset to pull in what you create in the above point.Ref: http://swiftideas.com/documentation/2014/05/11/testimonials/
Thanks,
David.August 7, 2015 at 4:35 am #201656Hi David, not sure if you meant testimonials or clients? I’m trying to sort out how to add images to the new client’s page. The testimonials on my front page are working fine. maybe i should start a new thread for this? just dont want to add more threads and take up more space 🙂
August 7, 2015 at 4:52 am #201659Hi Kyle, tried that and it didnt work. But i have discovered something.. a bug? have never had this happen before on any wordpress theme so its a bit odd. I deleted two images off one blog entry, then added them back. I added one back at about 200px wide, and the other at about 700 px wide (whatever the theme options gave me to choose from as standard when I embedded the media). I used the ‘handles’ to resize them to look good visually, updated it, and viewed it. It showed both images at the exact size I choose for the upload/embed. One was too small, one was too big – it did not show them as the size of what i had resized with the image resize ‘handles’.
hope this makes sense. I think i might have to go back into the settings somewhere and change the medium image sizes to what i want so i dont have to ‘resize’ with the ‘handles’ on each post.. and then regenerate thumbnails? i’ll give it a try.
August 7, 2015 at 10:56 am #201805Hi,
The process of adding clients is exactly the same as the testimonials.
Once you have added your Clients in the Dashboard (Clients => Add new) and set their featured image, navigate to your client page and use the “Clients” page builder asset.
To create a page like: http://swiftideas.com/documentation/2014/05/11/clients/
Follow these instructions: http://swiftideas.com/documentation/2014/05/11/clients/
Thanks,
