having issues with some minor stuff and cant seem to figure how to sort it out.
*testimonial slider is tight to left side of white content area – there is no buffer like there is with the product images or top image slider
*product elements are labeled ‘shop guys’ and ‘shop girls’. Both are set up identical but are working different. The shop guys arrows work to show another product. The shop girls arrows are visible but not working. both are set to 8 products and 2 columns.
*although the guys is set for 8 products, it will only slide to a third product.. and then stops.
*if i click on ‘view all products’ it works to show me the shop page – however.. it shows me two rows of 4 images/product.. the top row is 4 across, the bottom row is missing one, showing one, missing two.
*the press at page bottom (which is a recent posts element) shows up the way it should on the home page, but if I click on any of the images/blog entries, the image has suddenly been blown up to super size. I think this is due to me deactivating all the plugins for an earlier support issue – and probably needing to regenerate thumbnails but i’m not too familiar with this how, or why, or when or if i need to do this.
also is there any tutorial video or written content on how to create client page? the template page shows client’s logos as part of the info, not sure how to add my own content to the element – tried the ‘add new client’ page and was totally lost.. any advice for this would be great thanks.
July 27, 2015 at 11:59 am #198040Hi,
Q1)
That looks to be because you have selected a full width row in that page builder element. If you remove that, the normal padding should resume.
Q2)
Both section arrows are working. But it looks like you have one of those product elements display type set differently. Please check each of those product sections and check the setting “PRODUCT DISPLAY TYPE” making sure both are identical.
Q3)
The guys section is using a different display type, making sure both the girls and guys section is displaying the same display type option is needed.
Q4)
What page do you see hat on, this one http://nightmaircreations.com/shop
Q5)
Are you referring to the large blog post header image: http://nightmaircreations.com/jordan-pritchett-king-and-cash/
– What is your ideal display for this? I see the original is 314 x 480 which is really to small to be used and displayed well for larger sizes.
Q6)
Have you read over this: http://swiftideas.com/documentation/2014/05/11/clients/
Drop me a login and I can set a few example up for you to copy. 🙂

Hope that helps!

Q1)
Ok, let us know if you have any queries.
Q2)
That image will always be scaled up to fill the area, what post meta option are you using “Thumbnail” or “Detail media”.
Q3)
Sure, please add a private reply with a WP login so we can do this.
Thanks.

its kind of related to the same stuff so.. if you have a look at my test page here: http://nightmaircreations.com/test-3/
i am using all ‘image’ elements for guys, girls, signature collection, VIP and straight linking them to the respective pages. Great idea or so i thought until i get to ‘sale’ and suddenly realize i’m back in the corner! i cant directly link to a sale page as i dont have one. i cant use a ‘product’ element as it wants to a) distort the image larger b)give me a slider or just one single product to click on… when i ideally want to be able to click through to all sale products.
Which leads me to the question.. there are soooooo many ‘draft’ pages that come with the theme to show us how to do things.. there are a ton of shop pages.. one called ‘shop – categories’.. theoretically i can turn that into a shop page strictly for sale items yes? and i could save it under a new name and then use it again for shop girls and only girls products? or only guys products? And if i save it under a new name i’m not sure how to do that. its not like the ‘save as’ in a word doc that saves a new copy and keeps the old intact.. so how do i duplicate a page or save as in a commerce WP site?
thanks.
July 29, 2015 at 10:30 am #198868Hi,
I am investigating your blog query now and will report back.
Regarding the sale page:
Please create a new page “Sale”. Inside this page please add this shortcode that comes with WooCommerce:
[sale_products per_page="12"]
This will create a page for you to list all your sale products. There are many shortcodes like this available, take a look: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/.
Thanks,
David.July 29, 2015 at 12:01 pm #198929Hi,
Regarding your blog image query:
The featured image will always be stretched to fit that content area. You could manually insert an image into the post editor and that will display the image at the normal uploaded size.
Thanks,

You can set the featured image for the post, then for the detail media (which is the blown up featured image) change it to ‘none’ so that the featured image does not display on the post itself. Then you can manually insert the image into your post content and have it any size you want

July 30, 2015 at 4:35 pm #199421hi Guys, Kyle thanks for the info but this doesnt do what i want it to do. The reason to use the Featured image is so that there is an image showing when i cross post to Facebook and other sites.. if i remove that or hide that, when you cross post to another platform all the link pulls in is text. Also.. being able to use one image as the feature (i.e. the person wearing my item) and then inserting an image into the body of the text for people who want to read further (i.e. the actual product they are wearing) allows me to highlight two different things.
ideally what i need is to be able to change the size that the featured image shows at. if the default is say.. 800px, i need to be able to change that to say.. 400 px. I think i might need to regenerate thumbnails or something too because even though the images embedded into the text of the post content are small in reality, they too are showing larger than the actual size.
July 31, 2015 at 7:56 am #199572Ok the only way to do that is by adding this to your custom css:
article.post.single-post-standard figure.media-wrap img { width: auto; }
– Kyle
July 31, 2015 at 8:45 am #199590in the custom CSS part of the Swift theme options? I’ve added it there, but am still getting huge images see here:
http://nightmaircreations.com/jordan-pritchett-king-and-cash/
the first image should only be 314 x 480 px but is almost the size of my entire laptop screen.
July 31, 2015 at 8:46 am #199592This is what I see: http://d.pr/i/6pm/3kxYs9lu

July 31, 2015 at 8:47 am #199593OH! okay i just deleted the featured image, and then added it back again and its the correct size! so i think since the update i have to refresh thumbnails again? (i’m not even sure what that is or how to do it).. i only have 5 blog entries so i can manually go back in and delete the images and add them back and in theory that should solve the issue (until the next update 🙂 )
