Footer and Header edition

Hi,
I want to know if we can edit the footer section a little more that the way it is present in the back office section.
1) Can I place my social media icons in this place ?
2) Can I add a new social media that is not there actually, like Viadeo (http://us.viadeo.com/en/) ?

I also want to know how I can add some icons in the header or footer section to access other sites, like an extranet. I tried shortcodes but don’t see it appears [icon image='ss-lock' size='small' src='#']

Hi,

In the theme footer options you can select a layout from many options available.
Also inside the footer widgets you can place the desired content.

Do you any specific layout in mind? Do you have a mockup?

Just want to place some contact infos, icons links to Facebook, Linkedin and Viadeo (who isn’t in the list) and 3 icons links to external links.

Where can I find the footer widgets ? I’m probably blind but I can’t find them.

After defining the number of footer columns, go to Appearance->Widgets
Open a specific footer column and Drag and drop widgets inside the footer columns.

Ho ok, thanks ! I see now and I can modify my footer.
Just a little question, can we edit a widget. I like the Meta widget but I want to remove some of the links and add some. It’s possible ?
And if I want to put some iconbox, I put a Texte widget with some shortcodes in it ?

I’m afraid the meta widget is a default widget from WordPress, which is not controlled by the theme. You will have to search Google for this solution

I also add a Jobs section in my website but I want to remove the post date and change the label of the call to action. How can I do that plz ?

You could add social icons but you would need to edit the theme files, you would also need to get the code for the link, and also there needs to be a fontawesome icon for the social network

For the jobs, add this to your custom css:

.job-date {
  display: none;
}

To change the text you would need to edit line 69 in swift-framework/page-builder/builder/shortcodes/jobs.php
