Fontdeck font randomly not loading properly

It’s an issue present with previous versions of the theme and WordPress as well. Din Pro font doesn’t always load properly. There are two sorts of problems that occasionally show:
1. The kerning is off and letters have too big spaces. On mobile it causes the font to be jumbled and completely unreadable.
2. The font doesn’t load at all and Verdana is loaded in its place.

After refreshing once or twice the font loads correctly – but this happens all of the time, on all browsers and on different devices (checked on my PC, laptop and mobile phone).

I have no idea what’s causing the problem, whether it’s Fontdeck or the theme, but I can’t launch the site to people with that.

we had this problem for a while.

We’re not using font deck but another custom font

The issue was being caused by the font being called from an old temporary url e.g. devlopmentsite/wp-content/theme/fonts etc
when we had moved to our live domain in prep for launch e.g. launchdomain/wp-content/theme/fonts etc

changing this source url in the css fixed our issue.

sorry of this doesnt help (might be different with font deck im not sure…)

Hi,

I can see Din Text Pro Regular is being correctly loaded.

If the fallback font is being loaded, it would look to be a fontdeck issue.

Mind privately adding your WP login so I can take a look at your setup?
