    Hi,

    Fontawesome icons will not display on my screen with IE10. Safari and Google Chrome are ok. It can’t find the link to fontawesome apparently.
    It is the same when I check FlexForm demo site.
    I attach the inspector screenshot and send a PM with my login details.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Yann,

    IE still sucks sometimes, and in this case I believe it needs an absolute path to the FontAwesome CSS file.

    Ed, can you confirm?

    Hi Yann,

    Please check out this link – http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5065362/ie9-blocks-download-of-cross-origin-web-font

    There are some resolutions there that should help you solve this server-side issue.

    Hi Ed,

    Ok, I’ve been trying to sort that out all day but no luck. Should I contact my hosting service for that issue?

    Thanks
    Yann

    Hi again,

    I’ve checked with my hosting provider, BlueHost, they told me to see with the developer that they do not provide assistance for that.

    I really tried but I didn’t find anything out there that works for me.
    I reference the MIME types that were not. I created an .htaccess file in the font folder with this:

    <FilesMatch “.(ttf|otf|eot|woff)$”>
    <IfModule mod_headers.c>
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*” /* tried also with “my domain.com */
    </IfModule>
    </FilesMatch>

    I cleared cache after each try.
    I really need to find a solution to this issue, as we cannot even see the portfolio “chevron” arrows anymore making navigation impossible for this element and makes the website general readability difficult.

    Please try to help.

    Thanks
    Yann

    Also,

    The problem is the same on Firefox..
    Is there a way to have the font awesome icons locally, even if it implies buying a set from them.
    That would fix the issue.

    Regards
    Yann

    You can download FontAwesome here:

    http://fontawesome.io/

    And I feel your pain with IE. What a POS!

    Hi Yann,

    Did you try this: http://stackoverflow.com/a/5068006 by placing the code in the .htaccess in the home folder not on the folder inside the font-awesome.

    Let me know, what you got.

    Thanks,
    laranz.
