I created a full-width page .php file to use in Flexform. However, it looks like Flexform is no longer responsive.

I attached a screenshot and the .php file.

Can you show us your website live so we can check it out?

So you have custom created that php file and now nothing is responsive anymore? Or just that page where you use the new template?

    Hey Melanie,

Once you make a page full width page template, the remaining Swift Page Builder elements no longer stretch full-width. They are always boxed to 960 even with a functioning full width .php page.

So basically, if you manually enter content using the default wordpress editor, then your content will stretch the entire page. However, if you use the Swift Page Builder, all content is boxed (even when using “full width” options in the Swift Page Builder.

Separate private reply will have link and attachment.

Correct, full width means that there is no sidebar, but it doesn’t mean that the elements will stretch from browser border to browser border.

    Melanie,

ALL content does stretch from browser border to browser border, EXCEPT for content created in Swfit Page Builder.

In the private reply, I sent a link. You’ll see that content created outside of Swift Page Builder stretches from browser border to browser border, while SPB content does not. We have 3 different elements that are all 1/3 boxes. However, they only cover up 1/3 of 960 px, not 1/3 of the entire page.

In other words, all content works in full-width, except for content created in Swift Page Builder.

    Hi,

Using the Page Builder, you are adding “boxes” inside a “big box”, so to say.

The layout framework (Bootstrap 2) has predefined margins/padding on all “boxes”, in order to have correct alignments, floats, etc.

With the Page Builder, you can only use the Text Block (Full width), in order to have a full width section – like this one.

    Thanks for the reply, Cosmin.

If you look at the private URL I posted above, I updated it to show you what a full-width text block looks like…. it doesn’t span full width anymore once you create a full-width .php page.

The element works fine with the Page Builder as is.

Note that the Page Builder does not use any page templates, so that might be your problem 🙂
