Flexform Error on Adding Single Image

When I click on add an image to a page, I get this error and I’m not sure if I’m missing a plugin or there is something else I’m missing. Can you let me know what the problem is? Thanks.

So no one has any input on this at all? I thought questions were supposed to be answered within 48 hours?

This is crippling, not being able to add a single image and there is no plugin compatibility problem here, so any input will be appreciated.

If I don’t get a response from support, I will be requesting a refund as this theme is not working correctly on my end.

Hey cknapp5 – I’m not a pro, but it looks to me from the first line of your error code that it could be a memory size limit with the file your uploading and/or your host.

If it was me, I would contact my host and see if they recognize this and if so, if they can increase the memory limit (again, I wish I knew more and could tell you for sure, but I think this is in the php.ini file).

They may say, “We can’t help you with that.” or they may say, “Oh yeah, sure thing. Hold on one second.”

Keep us posted! It might help someone else along the way.

PS I’m not the developer of the them nor even an official “developer” but that is what I would try while you’re waiting. Good luck!

It’s not a memory problem, usually these memory errors occur when some PHP script runs away…

The thing is, it’s not the actual upload process. The Swift Page Builder tries to load the image loader, and fails. So I don’t even get the chance to upload an image.

I click, “Click here to load image” and it says “Loading….” then…

I see what you mean. There was an update to the theme (1.4.3) – did that happen to reach you yet?

Also, did your host have anything to say? I’ve been impressed with the level of support I’ve received from my host so I wonder if you’d have the same experience?

Lastly, WPBakery’s Visual Composer seems to be what is driving the Swift Page Builder – that makes sense! (though I could be wrong).

The image loader seems to work for me (installed Flexform this morning and updated. I wonder if it’s a plugin or php, or random bug). I hope they can write back to you soon!

Raised it to 96M, now it just continually says “Loading…” in the swift page builder.

What is supposed to happen here exactly? Any other suggestions?

EDIT: It seems to be working intermittently. Sometimes it hangs, sometimes it loads. We’ll see if it improves. Thanks.

I see why it is intermittent, it seems that the load is timing out after 30 seconds.

I see this in the network watcher (admin-ajax.php):
action:wpb_show_edit_form
element:vc_single_image
shortcode:[vc_single_image image_size=”full” frame=”noframe” full_width=”no” lightbox=”yes” link_target=”_self” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]

As the POST command given to the server. However, I get an error 500 because it is taking longer than 30 seconds to load. This appears to be solely a problem with the SwiftPageBuilder.

@cknapp5 – we haven’t got anyone else with this issue, which leads me to believe that it’s something local. You may want to ask your host to see if they can see anything that is timing out with your setup?
