Flexform anchor links not working from one page to another

Hi,

I’m having some issues with anchor tags with the Flexform theme.

The anchor links work on the Our Services page sub navigation and take you further down the page to the appropriate section on the page e.g. http://www.cardiodirect.com/our-services/#nav-sports-screenings. However if I try to use this same anchor link with an image or text on the Home page of the same website it loads the page but normally scrolls to the wrong section, mainly the very bottom of the page.

I have activated the default Twenty Fifteen theme and the anchor links worked correctly as they should from the Home page to the sections on the Our Services page. I then reactivated my Flexform child theme and then deactivated all the plugins and the anchor links didn’t work properly again, therefore it must be something to do with the Flexform theme itself.

Please can you suggest a fix for this issue.

Hi,

The homepage sections, look to not have the anchor links within the respective sections like the service page does. Ex: <a id="nav-investigations"></a> is missing on the homepage?

Please add a WP login with full admin rights.

Hi, did you have any success with logging in with the details I provided yesterday?

OK I’ve managed to make some progress today. I suspected the length of the page might be causing issues and so I have split the page into two. The What we do links from the Home page now seem to work correctly and when you click the images or titles you go to the correct place on the Services page.

However this still does not work correctly with the Investigations links on the Home page. These are linked from the icons at the very bottom under the ‘Our Investigations’ title. They should all direct the user to a the relevant info on the new Investigations page. The first few work OK but the last few only go to the very bottom of the page e.g. click on Bubble Contrast Echo study or Exercise ECG.

Do you know why the anchors only work with a shorter page?

Could you list the steps to replicate the issue?

The anchor links on this page correct work? http://www.cardiodirect.com/investigations/#nav-bubble but I belive I am not 100% understanding your issue.
