    Hi,

I noticed that Chrome and Firefox display a Flash plugin blocked warning in some pages of Atelier (my site and demo site as well, see screenshots), but I cannot find anything in the page source.

I only found one reference to flash in a js file called “sf-scripts.min.js”

This theme is not supposed to contain flash, right? How can it be deleted completely?

Here are two of the demo pages with flash warnings:
    -http://swiftideas.com/pages/about-us/

    thanks

    Hi,

I don’t have flash active in Firefox and it didn’t asked me to install Flash in those 2 pages.

What extension/option are you using to display those warnings?

The Youtube Videos can display in Flash but they will display in HTML5 if you don’t have it.

    Hi,

I’m using just the regular Flash player for Mac OS X and the embedded Flash plugin that comes with Chrome, no special extensions.

Those are the standard massages for users who have the Flash plugin installed but use it only on demand site by site (click to play) when needed.
That’s why it asks for permission to be allowed.

However I found that the issue is in the Lightbox for images: only in pages with lightbox (all product pages and some others) the message appears. When I disable the lightbox the warning disappears.

It looks like the Lightbox used in Atelier (and Joyn also) has some unnecessary Flash calls which should be deleted I guess.

That allows the lightbox to use flash if necessary.
Will forward your suggestion to the development team.

Unfortunately the lightbox plugin doesn’t seem to be maintained anymore, we’ll see what we can do about removing flash from it for a future update.

Ok, that is exactly the issue.

Users/customers may think the site uses the ugly Flash while it actually does not, so it really needs to go in my opinion.

Related to this, I found that the option to disable Lightbox for product images in Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Product Image Gallery does not seem to work anymore (latest Atelier, Woocommerce 2.3.11), the Lightbox for products doesn’t go away no matter what.

As I don’t plan to use the Lightbox in my site, do you know a way to completely disable (not just hiding) it from the theme with a custom CSS or child theme code?

    Thanks

Apologies for those previous messages – wrong topic.

I’ll see what I can do for the update after this next one.

Just FYI you are the only person who has raised this over the past year and a half since we started using iLightbox.
