Fill Thumbnail Images (they are mixed portrait and landscape format) with color

My products have a different orientation, some are in portrait format
and some are in landscape format.
The thumbnail images should have all the same size,
for example 200 x 200 pixel, but noch cropped.
The rest of the thumbnail should be filled with white color.
Is this possible ?

But there is only possible to have one type of format, all the uploaded pictures show be the same dimensions.

You probably need to place a kind of a frame around the Portrait images so they can have the same size has the landscape images.

not sure, probably exists something to do that.
Besides that only photoshop or any image editor.

thanks. I generate then the images with an anction
in photoshop and fill it with the same size an white color.
