This seems to be related to the latest custom fonts fix from Redux – Will get in touch with them and see what’s up. Will likely be sending out a new update later on today or tomorrow as there was also a Revolution Slider update today.

August 28, 2015 at 4:58 pm #208493Hi guys,
This is on our radar, we will post an update here when Ed has a confirmation from the Redux team.
Best,
David.August 28, 2015 at 7:09 pm #208536I just completed the current theme update (Joyn). Now I am getting the same File Permission error.
– The folder is at 0755 permissions on the host.
– The wp-config looks good, as for the access to the database.– The reference fix link given: modify your wp-config.php file to contain your FTP login credentials as outlined here..
is not helping solve the problem.Any fixes / suggestions ?
August 28, 2015 at 7:27 pm #208541Getting the same error here to.
August 28, 2015 at 8:11 pm #208545If anyone would be willing to provide WordPress & FTP access in a private reply, I’ll get the redux team to take a look and speed up a fix from them.
Thanks,
– Ed
August 28, 2015 at 10:55 pm #208554Hello,
I have the same error after updating from version 2.3
If I change permission to 644, lots of error messages
Is that a solution has been found?
Thanks

File Permission Issues
We were unable to modify required files. Please ensure that…/wp-content/uploads/ has the proper read-write permissions, or modify your wp-config.php file to contain your FTP login credentials as outlined here..

I have paid for a professional theme, is it not?
Do you have to fix it soon as possible!!!
I have to reistall all again, how can it be?! I have to work with it, not waste my time!!!!
with your fault!!!August 29, 2015 at 11:36 am #208587@paolo – the issue is with the redux framework, the theme is professional, and issues like this do occur sometimes. We will be rolling back that change in an update today.

August 29, 2015 at 11:50 am #208589I like cardinal, but all was blocked, I cant work on it, I can’s push any buttons, no reactions!!!!
I have reset all my website, I need to start a new one again!
next time put online a new version, be really sure it works!!!
Otherwise I change my theme, with a new one
and you get a low rank from me on your work!August 29, 2015 at 12:23 pm #208595Paolo,
The issue stated here has absolutely NO adverse affects on the site, apart from the notice being shown – the issues it sounds like you are having are at no fault of the theme, I can assure you.
