    Hi,

    Now that I’ve got the theme working – a few questions on layouts etc which originally started in the pre-sales questions:

    1. On our home page we wish to have a swift slider with featured posts category at the top – 3/4 width, as there is no short codes for the swift slider can you explain how we achieve this in the page layout or using another slider. If we leave it full width it really doesn’t show much of our post images. If possible we want the featured posts populating with a nice looking title/meta etc over the image?

    2. If we cannot use the swift slider we will just use a 3/4 image (hopefully linked to posts and showing the meta / comments / views etc) but when we use the code below it does not seem to show the image caption underneath?

    [spb_single_image image=”224″ image_size=”full” frame=”noframe” intro_animation=”fade-in” full_width=”no” lightbox=”no” image_link=”http://www.google.com” link_target=”_self” caption=”I should be an image caption” width=”3/4″ el_position=”first last”]

    3. On ipad portrait can you confirm the CSS to turn off the flyout mobile menu (Flyout menu is great on mobile phones our menu’s will be a low number of dropdowns)

    4. Author bio box – is there any way to get the author social links to display inside their bio (like the main post social sharing options)

    5. On Masonry Blog post display, Is there a way to change the colour of the post background too and can we change the styling on the “READ MORE” box?

    6. Wish to show the mini masonry blog at 3/4 width – with a text box in the remaining 1/4 can you explain how to achieve this in page builder as using the following code shows the blog posts at 50% width

    blog title=”Interesting stuff” show_blog_aux=”no” blog_type=”mini” masonry_effect_type=”effect-1″ item_count=”10″ category=”feature” show_title=”yes” show_excerpt=”yes” show_details=”yes” excerpt_length=”20″ content_output=”excerpt” show_read_more=”yes” pagination=”standard” width=”3/4″ el_position=”first last”]

    7. Is is possible to show the number of shares a post has had in the blog meta view? Maybe when a post is shared it should also increase the “love” by 1 as that would then show it’s true popularity. Would be great to order blog posts by love/shares too.

    Sorry for all the questions – it’s a great theme and these answers would really help us get this sorted

    Many thanks 🙂

    1) It isn’t possible as standard, the Swift slider is only available full width. We do have plans to improve the slider in the near future.

    2) Fixed this for the next update, thanks for letting us know.

    3) So you’d like the standard menu on iPad portrait?

    4) Not currently possible, I’m guessing you’d want to set this per author with the same social icons?

    5) The background is the alt background colour, set in the live customiser. You can change the read more button with the following class:

    .read-more-button {}

    6) Fixed this for the next update – thanks.

    7) Will consider this. Think we’ll plan to improve the social side of things where possible.

    Thanks for the questions and feedback!

    1) It’s on the list – will see what we can do 🙂

    2) Tonight.

    3) Thinking we’re going to add this in to the theme options for an update after this one.

    4) Ok, you could re-purpose the code below in the author description to try and use it for each author:

    <ul class="social-icons standard">
    <li class="twitter"><a href="http://www.twitter.com/#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-twitter"></i><i class="fa-twitter"></i></a></li>
    <li class="facebook"><a href="#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-facebook"></i><i class="fa-facebook"></i></a></li>
    <li class="dribbble"><a href="http://www.dribbble.com/#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-dribbble"></i><i class="fa-dribbble"></i></a></li>
    <li class="youtube"><a href="#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-youtube"></i><i class="fa-youtube"></i></a></li>
    <li class="vimeo"><a href="http://www.vimeo.com/#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-vimeo-square"></i><i class="fa-vimeo-square"></i></a></li>
    <li class="tumblr"><a href="http://tumblr.tumblr.com/" target="_blank"><i class="fa-tumblr"></i><i class="fa-tumblr"></i></a></li>
    <li class="skype"><a href="skype:#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-skype"></i><i class="fa-skype"></i></a></li>
    <li class="linkedin"><a href="#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-linkedin"></i><i class="fa-linkedin"></i></a></li>
    <li class="googleplus"><a href="#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-google-plus"></i><i class="fa-google-plus"></i></a></li>
    <li class="flickr"><a href="#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-flickr"></i><i class="fa-flickr"></i></a></li>
    <li class="pinterest"><a href="http://www.pinterest.com/#/" target="_blank"><i class="fa-pinterest"></i><i class="fa-pinterest"></i></a></li>
    <li class="foursquare"><a href="#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-foursquare"></i><i class="fa-foursquare"></i></a></li>
    <li class="instagram"><a href="http://instagram.com/#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-instagram"></i><i class="fa-instagram"></i></a></li>
    <li class="github"><a href="#" target="_blank"><i class="fa-github"></i><i class="fa-github"></i></a></li>
    </ul>

    7) Yes, it’s something we’ve got on our list 🙂

    8) Shortcode should be:

    [spb_slider revslider_shortcode=”sliderpreview” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]

    Alias in the box, not the whole shortcode.
