Hi,
I have a URGENT problem with the posts/pages/products translated in english (www.sharebot.eu instead of .it). The featured images are not showing even if I duplicate them during the translation.
What is the problem? Everything happened after the update of wordpress and wpml.
I’ve already asked WPML support but they answered “The theme Neighborhood is not listed as a compatible theme with WPML here: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/”. I was sure theme Neighborhood was compatible with WPML.You can check the wpml thread here https://wpml.org/forums/topic/featured-images-of-post-and-products-not-showing-in-the-second-language/
Thanks

September 30, 2014 at 12:46 pm #115902HI,
http://www.sharebot.it/ and http://www.sharebot.eu/ as you can see in the english version the posts have no featured images even if I assigned them the same as the italian.
You can see this problem in all the posts http://www.sharebot.eu/index.php/blog-en/September 30, 2014 at 4:35 pm #116019Any news on it? It’s quite important
September 30, 2014 at 11:34 pm #116115Don’t understand what is happening. Will have to forward to the development team.
-RuiSeptember 30, 2014 at 11:36 pm #116116Thanks,
I tried to duplicate all the images with WPML Media and re-upload the featured image for the translated posts but nothing works…
The problem affects also some products…since the shop is online it’s quite important to have it fixed as soon as possible.
Thanks
G.October 1, 2014 at 12:08 am #116120Talked to the development team and this should be done with WPML Media.
I guess it’s only missing hit the start button in the image below after choosing your desired settings, and translate the images.

October 1, 2014 at 12:10 am #116121Hi @giorgio.uboldi
This plugin has been tested and definitely works as expected with the theme from our testing – I can only assume this is something to do with your WPML setup, and you will have to ask the question to their support team – unfortunately we are only able to support issues with the theme, not third party plugins.

October 1, 2014 at 12:29 am #116123Hi,
thanks for the help but the WPML support told me this:
“This seems a compatibility problem. If you switch to the default theme, the featured images are displaying well in both languages. Could you confirm this?
The theme Neighborhood is not listed as a compatible theme with WPML here: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/” (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/featured-images-of-post-and-products-not-showing-in-the-second-language/page/2/)
I repeatly did what Rui told me to do but nothing happened. What should I do? Can I tell them what you just told me?
Thanks for the help,
G.October 2, 2014 at 3:47 am #116541Did you try testing with the default theme?
The only reason it doesn’t show there is because the team testing for that “badge” all appear to rarely reply to emails. We have one of our themes confirmed, and all use the same framework base.

October 9, 2014 at 6:57 pm #118999Hi,
Sorry for the delay. I tried the default theme and everything works has it suppose to do. I’ve been contacted by OnTheGo Systems telling me they are trying to fix the problem and they have contacted you to work together on it.
Do you have any news about it? It’s becoming quite problematic. There is a way I can help you?Best,
GiorgioOctober 10, 2014 at 2:51 am #119085Hi @Giorgio
No problem. I haven’t received a single form of contact from them…

October 10, 2014 at 2:59 am #119087Really?
Is there a way to speed the process?October 10, 2014 at 5:04 am #119110We’ve had numerous issues with them in the past, a lot of the time they don’t seem to be willing to fix issues with WPML.
We have tested the media setup here and all does work fine as far as we know.
