Currently building a WordPress based website using Catsone plugin (API integration plugin with a recruitment software system) together with ‘Flexform’ base twitter bootstrap theme. Currently running Windows 8 PC where issue occurs. Has been tested on a Mac and issue does not occur on that Mac. Catsone has also been notified of issue.

When trying to utilise WordPress ‘Featured Image’ functionality such as “Teams”  (as in all types of post within WordPress), the Featured Image functionality / add media functionality causes both unavailability of media library images, an inability to upload new images and a system hang from the pop-up when Catsone plugin is enabled. Does not do so when Catsone plugin is disabled. Note that this does not occur in the main media library, only when using in-post creation features.

Has been tested across the following browsers on Windows:- Firefox, IE, Safari, Chrome. Issue replicates identically across all browsers.

Have systematically gone through each live plugin to detect error, revolves around Catsone plugin. Works fine with all other live plugins.

Workaround is to turn off Cats plugin when using featured functionality and turn it back on again after use. Manageable on a dev site, not so good on a live site.

I am happy to allow access to WP backend if required.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, theme support does not cover 3rd party plugin issues. If it works with the plugin disabled, it’s clearly a plugin issue, which I suggest to talk to the plugin author about.

    Regards,
