Featured and related posts images doesn't work

Hi, the featured images of my posts stopped working since I updated “JM twitter cards” plugin. Images are not showing in single post pages and latest posts shortcodes. In fact the whole site broke with the update, so I un installed the plugin. But now the blog images are not showing (only shows in sidebar latest posts widget and blog page).

I tried deactivating all the plugins and updating the theme. But the problem is still there.
What can i do to solve this??

I forgot to say that GD extension library is activated.

Edit: I have restored a backup, with the previous version of JM Twitter cards plugin. When it is activated, images work properly, but if I deactivate or update the plugin blog images doesn’t show.

It is so weird. Now it is working, but it isn’t the best way.

It is made to attach photos to tweets, so if somebody shares my blog urls on twitter, they are shown with the featured image.
Yes, it is an issue of the plugin, but it is were that when it is deactivated it affects to the images, not showing them.
