FAQs anchor tags not working

Hi all,

When I click on the topics on the FAQ widget (in my website it’s used for testimonials however) they aren’t jumping down to the relevant part on the page.

You have to scroll down a bit and it’s under the title that says Testimonials.

Hope you can help as I can’t figure out what might be causing this!

Hi Laura,

It’s because of this custom CSS that you have:

.faqs-wrap > h3 {
    display: none !important;
}

The browser cannot scroll down to something that technically doesn’t exist in the CSS hierarchy.

Ah ok,

Is there any way to perhaps change what the title text says from ‘Browse FAQ Topics’ to ‘Browse Testimonials’?

It’s just there are so many – using the FAQ bit for this seemed like the best idea…

I’ve got TextWrangler to edit the files if need be..

You can change the wording in faqs.php
