Fancy Title Image Disappeared

Hi guys,

I think when I updated the theme recently the fancy title image stopped appearing. See:

Theme hasn’t been customised or anything.

Any ideas?

You have missing image at Admin -> Edit this page -> Page heading options -> Fancy Heading Background Image.

Hi Mohammad,

Thanks for that – there are a lot of old posts that definitely had the image set though, and they have all disappeared. Did it used to take the feature image automatically or something? It will take a long time to go through hundreds of posts setting it again.

Hi Mohammad,

It’s Dante version 3.16, it was updated directly from within WordPress via the Update button in Themes (which is version 4.3.1).

So it’s happened on every post since the update? Have you edited any theme files?

Hey Kyle,

Yeah every post and haven’t made any edits to the theme. Really weird! Very keen to get it resolved because every post looks blank at the top (especially with white text on white background).

Hi,

Couple of questions:

1)

Have you recently migrated the site or switched Themes Joyn => Dante?

For example from http://smaggle.staging.wpengine.com to http://www.smaggle.com/ ?

2)

Have you done and search & replacing within your database?

There does not seem even any custom field meta data associated with the post for the fancy header image?

3)

What is the last version used by you, the version before you updated?

4)

Can you ask WPEngine to restore the backup on your staging site so we can inspect it’s before update setup with everything working?
