    Hi,
    Fancy header is not rendering correctly when you scroll.

    I am not worried about the animation would quite like a fixed image header so I know it is there?!

    Is it possible to do that? It works fine on my mac on chrome but windows machine on both chrome and IE not working properly, image dissapears, or is cropped off. I attach it.

    Also fonts on windows with Google Chrome look jagged not smooth? Fine on a mac.

    Many thanks, loving the theme!
    Gary

    I see what you mean, when we scroll down and up the image get’s cropped.
    I will address this issue to the development team.

    Regarding the fonts in different operating systems, that’s something the theme can’t control.

    Can we fix the header so that it is not so fancy? With that sort it?

    Thanks

    Hi Gary,

    You can use the standard option, or use this custom css to stop the transitions:

    .page-heading.fancy-heading {
    padding-bottom: 120px!important;
    opacity: 1!important;
    }
    .fancy-heading .heading-text {
    opacity: 1!important;
    letter-spacing: normal!important;
    }

    However, I’m looking on Windows/Chrome and can’t see the issue..? https://www.dropbox.com/s/rajtors4662ziq4/Screenshot%202014-07-18%2015.16.39.png

    Just to let you know the problem still exists after upgrading to v1.5
    Thanks

    Also I have used the code above to fix the fancy header and remove animation but the text still has the problem on the browswer concerned as this still tries to move and does not move back to the middle correctly.

    Is it possible to have some code to fix that in the middle too so that does not move. This then would be a suitable workaround for the IE11 / Google Chrome issues on Windows 7.

    Many thanks,
    Gary

    Hi,

    I think that was already sorted in V 1.5.1
    But for precaution, I’m going to forward to the Developer.

    Just tweaked this a little – to avoid issues when scrolling quickly. Sending off this update later tonight 🙂
