Facebook "like" button in the top bar

I’m trying to put a Facebook “like” button on my page. I used the generator at the link listed below to get a code. I pasted the main code at the top of my “home” page content and pasted the short div code where the social icons go above the logo in the top bar.

That worked, however the button was not centered within the top bar—it was pushed completely flush with the top of the page (extra space below it), and it also pushes the top bar’s height taller. Do you know a way to center that embedded button in the top bar so that it doesnt do this?

Try adding this custom CSS in the general theme options:

.fb_iframe_widget span {
    vertical-align: middle;
}
