I’m not sure, but that’s nothing to do with the theme. You must have it set somewhere. If you switch to twentyfourteen you will see that the same title is shared to Facebook

I have no idea, I’ve looked around your site and can’t find the output from facebook anywhere in your settings so not sure where Facebook is getting that from. Try fetch and render your site with Google and submit to index.

    Hi Kyle!

I have the same issue with images + meta in links on FB and I’ve spent days trying to figure this out. I have set my logo as feature image on every page, but it still doesn’t show up on FB.

I have WordPress SEO and Facebook Open Graph installed.

I have tried activating and deactivating different plugins to see if there’s a conflict.

I can’t figure out what configuration is messed up. I know your support doesn’t cover plugins. But maybe the problem is really easy for you to see? I’ll provide login in the next post. Pleeease! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi

As you can see in my comments above, it’s not easy for me to resolve or I would happily give you the answer. The theme itself does not control Facebook Meta, and to be honest I’m not entirely sure what does. When I share my websites to Facebook it uses the same info that Google uses, which is set using the Yoast SEO plugin

Ok, Yoast SEO does make my links show meta text. My main issue is that it doesn’t seem to control the image. How do I get the feature image to show? Otherwise, what’s the point of having a feature image for each page?

The featured image for pages was introduced by WordPress for their header area on twentyfourteen, and some other free themes. Not sure how you would use that for Facebook Meta, Facebook just uses the first image in the source code

Ah, I see. I guess I might have to live with the image being whatever Facebook pulls. I handling images was the point of OGP.

Anyway, the weird thing for me is that some of my pages display Yoast meta on Facebook, like this one for example. Please see images.

But on this page nothing shows.

I think I have the same settings on them but Facebook treat them different. I don’t get it and it drives me NUTS.

And I know this is not your problem because it’s a plugin. I just think I should be able to solve it somehow as it is OK on some pages.

Dang, I’m just trying to finish everything. Did you see the shop? It turned out great with all your help. ๐Ÿ™‚

    What do say, Kyle?

If you have only just made changes for the page meta they will not show in facebook right away. If you have the meta set for the home page then it should work fine, maybe wait until later then try again

This is as far as I can help you as I need to help people with theme issues. Have a nice day
