Can u pls help?

Dear support,

I don’t mind waiting 24hrs, but it’s three times as long in the meantime.

I really need some help on this, it’s a basic functionallity of a webshop.

Where’s the field for the VAT for companies?

You see our message box on the right hand side? It reads ‘We work on the oldest topic first, so adding a new comment will take you to the back of the queue.’

So each time you have added a new comment, it has been pushed to the back of the queue 🙁 Sorry about this it is just the way our forum works. Please in future be patient, we will get back to you.

Unfortunately the default WooCommerce does not support this option. I noticed you said you have this extension: http://www.woothemes.com/products/eu-vat-number/

I have not used this before so please read the documentation on how to do this, or get support from WooCommerce.

a little something about our forum: as we work from oldest replied to ticket (!) to latest, adding a new comment to your thread will lead to a later response, as you push yourself back to our queue.

Hi Melanie,

I got to woocommerce support and they told me my theme is a few versions behind (a week or something now)

But he told me with a standard theme, the field does show, but when he activates neighborhood theme, that the VAT field doesn’t show.

Did this issue get fixed in the current version?

Pls get back at me ASAP.

I have fixed your issue so please check it now . I added a line of code in form-checkout.php line 50 at /neighborhood/woocommerce/checkout/ .

super, do i have to add it again when i update the theme, or is it going to be in the next fix or is it already in the current release?

You need to put it always at theme update because its not with current theme version and its not required by more users .
