Hi there,
is there a way to ensure that when NEW PAGES are created in the WP Admin that the SWIFT PAGE BUILDER always LOADS FIRST? IE: I don’t want the WP CLASSIC EDITOR to load as the default.IE: I don’t want users to have to SWITCH to the SWIFT PAGE BUILDER.
Thanks in advance ๐
July 9, 2015 at 11:51 am #193163Hi,
This should always happen unless changed in the admin options, if not let us know and we can take a look at your admin.
Thanks.
July 9, 2015 at 12:09 pm #193178Hi David,
would this be an issue under a different role? IE: Under the “Editor” role?I have the SWIFT PAGE BUILDER enabled in the “Theme Options” (I am the ADMIN role).
But for me…. when creating a NEW page the CLASSIC EDITOR is the default that is loaded?
Q) Can you confirm that this is the case for you at your end on a CLEAN install of the theme? BTW – I am using Child Theme.
Obviously, if the user has switched to the SWIFT PAGE BUILDER when creating a page it remains just that.
The problem is on NEW page creation.
Cheers ๐
July 9, 2015 at 2:46 pm #193275Hi,
For me yes it has always worked like that, can you create me a new user with an editor role for now so I can take a look?
Thanks
July 9, 2015 at 6:53 pm #193365Hi David,
I just did a completely FRESH / CLEAN (Local) install of:WP: 4.2.2
Dante theme 2.82
+ Imported your demo content for testing.I have tried with ALL WP Roles and it makes no difference?
SWIFT PAGE BUILDER is still NOT the default when you create a NEW page? You HAVE to click the “Swift Page Builder” button to activate it!
You can try the same at your end.
Is this the default behavior?
Cheers
July 9, 2015 at 7:45 pm #193373Hi,
Unfortunately for the new pages that’s not possible by default it will only work for existing pages that were saved with the page builder.

Could this be hacked in some way via functions.php?
Cheers ๐
July 10, 2015 at 10:03 am #193536Hi,
A customisation like this could likely fall outside the scope of support. Let me request a check from our lead developer, you will receive a follow up here shortly.
Thanks,

We’ve got a solution, just need to figure the best way to include it – will have a think and see what we can do for one of the next Swift Framework plugin updates.

sounds like a plan. Can you give me a rough idea when you would add this functionality? Days, weeks, months?
Look forward to the update ๐
July 13, 2015 at 2:11 am #193884Likely within the next few weeks – we are working on adding an options panel for the framework to extend/modify the functionality.
