    Hi,

    I develop a WP-site with the DANTE-theme. The site will consist of only 2 pages:

    a) home
    b) imprint

    The page a) home contains the most contents like the “One Page Wonder” in the demo.
    I found out how to “Enable One Page Navigation” and defined some anchors like described in your knowledge base. The I disabled the One Page Navigation and defined a Custom Menu with those anchors as custom entries and defined it as shown as main-menu in the theme’s header. It works better then expected:

    A can navigate through the page a) home with main menu in the header.

    But here comes my problem:

    Same main-menu as shown on the page a) home will be shown also an the page b) imprint. How can I get the anchors to work there also?

    Hi,
    You can use # links Menu for home page. Just choose this one page specific menu for home page through page meta below page content editor. Now other page will have default main menus.

    Hi,
    Please create one Menus with #Ids for one page at Admin -> Appearance -> Menus. Now choose this menu through page meta option below page content editor. Optionally you can choose to override this menu that is used on the page. This is ideal if you want to create a page with a anchor link scroll menu.

    hi,
    this basically works … but with following unflattering effect:

    when I …

    1. load http://themarketingpeople.de.w0133791.kasserver.com/wordpress/
    2. click on Menu-Item “Über Uns”
    3. the page scrolls (smooth) down to, let’s say, 450px

    And everything looks nice. but when I …

    1. load http://themarketingpeople.de.w0133791.kasserver.com/wordpress/?page_id=284
    2. click on Menu-Item “Über Uns”
    3. the page loads http://themarketingpeople.de.w0133791.kasserver.com/wordpress/?page_id=288#Ueberuns
    4. the scroll-position is something like 530px

    I got no idea, what matters that. may be the fixed header.

    Do you think man can solve it?

    Can you also try to change your permalink settings to postname instead the default ids?
