Empty website after 1.5.3 update

Hi!
I have a very annoying problem!
I bought the theme in 1.5.2 version. I configured it, organized it and filled some categories and everything was working right.
But after 1.5.3 update, everything disappeared (empty pages, navigation menu gone away…).
I downgraded the theme to 1.5.2 version and everything reappeared!
So what’s wrong with this update?

i am having a similar issue, my thumbnail images do not show up, and any new images i add to my pages disappear as well. i believe i have the most updated wordpress and theme.

the thumbnails are missing on the main website page, the url is:

i have only updated one page so far with a new image, but i plan to update more, so far the one with the missing image is:

http://www.p-jalowski.com/?portfolio=canadian-ski-conditions

also while i have you here… the page titles for each project are a good size, but when viewed on a smaller screen the words in the title fall onto the next line if the title is too long. this is good. what i do not like is when the word gets broken and split onto the next line. is there anyway to dynamically shrink the titles so words stay complete? (viewing link on small screen can see issue: http://www.p-jalowski.com/?portfolio=canadian-ski-conditions)

I have never had feature images set, but i have uploaded images where it asks for thumbnails. i have not changed the thumbnails in over a year and only recently it has stopped working. i did add a feature image just now but it made no difference, still no thumbnail on home page.

i did also noticed that one of my projects is not showing up at all on the home page (no thumbnail, no link, no text) it exists and can be seen if flip through portfolio items clicking next on project before it…
