After defining the video link (YouTube video) I wish not to appear related videos in the end whoever when I define the YouTube link with rel=0 it doesn’t work.
If I use it with “watch=video id and rel=0” the video doesn’t appear on page and appears the link and without watch (with only rel=0) it doesn’t make related 0 for the video.

How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you.

Are you using the Media element from the Page Builder? Looking at the code, it should work if you paste in the correct link that activates related videos suppression.

I am using the Media Element from the page builder.

I have tried 4 versions of the video link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNonpGSsFTY?rel=0 ———–doesn’t work /shows the link not the player
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNonpGSsFTY&rel=0 —– shows the player but doesn’t work rel=0

    http://youtu.be/HNonpGSsFTY?rel=0 —– shows the player but doesn’t work rel=0
http://youtu.be/HNonpGSsFTY&rel=0 ———–doesn’t work /shows the link not the player

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Hi Isabel,

From a URL validation point of view, the first and last ones are wrong.

The second one is closest, but I think the embed function from WordPress is having some trouble with the URL.

Can you try this instead? http://www.youtube.com/embed/HNonpGSsFTY?rel=0

    Hello.

    I tried http://www.youtube.com/embed/HNonpGSsFTY?rel=0 and it didn’t work.
The url path to video appeared as a link in the page and the player disappeared (view attachment).

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you,

    Isabel Freire

I’ve tested with WordPress itself (not our Builder or shortcodes) and I see this is not working anymore, no matter what. WP used to have these working, but they don’t seem to work now, and that auto oEmbed function doesn’t support URL parameters, apparently.

I have no idea if this is even possible with WP anymore, I am still searching for a solution but no guarantees.

Ed, do you have any ideas?

    Regards,
