    Hi there.

I need to display products from a specific brand only on the homepage and am trying to do this by using the swift page builder ‘product’ element.

Where can i find the filters applied to each asset type? I want to use my proper filters and add new asset types, for example the brand name (when using the brands plugin) or to use a tag as a filter. Not just a category.

    Best,
    A-

    Hi,

Currently with the ‘Products’ asset in the page builder you can only limit by ‘Category’, not tags.

An alternative solution however would be to select which products to show “Selected Products” or use the “Featured Products”.

We recommend that you seek a freelance developer if you need that functionality, potentially from one of the below resources:

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Appologies, I mistakenly looked at the Atelier Swift Page Builder that is slightly different. Neighborhood cannot currently do “Selected Products.”

You could create new categories for each brand, or as a last resort use the “Featured Products”.

but i need to display some “selected” products…

the “featured products” could just be used once… so for me just one brand.

    Hi,

Sure, it sounds like the Featured Products would be the best way to do this.

The other would be to make a category for each brand, then limit the product output to that category.

when i choose a category and write the its slug to limit the output, the filter doesn’t work. I would provide you admin access to check it.

    Hi,

You cannot do that for the categories type asset.

Set the “Asset Type” to “latest products”.

    Thanks,
    David.
