    Hello,

after the update of WordPress 3.9 and the current theme version, it is no longer possible to edit an existing WordPress Gallery. Is it a bug? And how can we fix it?

    Thank you for your support.

Updated to 2.61 but still the same problem. I have changed the theme to Twenty Fourteen and the gallery edit buttons appear again so I guess it can be a problem with the Swift editor.
I have also added again the remove_filter line in functions.php

    Thanks

    Hi,
Please follow given below steps one by one and check for issue at each step:-
1- Deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

2- Switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

3- Resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

4- Re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Thanks

    Solved!

I didn’t upgrade the theme properly before! I have uploaded a fresh copy of the theme and now it’s working.

    Thank you!
