edit cv by word format

Hi,
i would like to add cv in word file format, i would like it to be by clicking button from the swift slyder in the about page.
how should i do that?

Hi,

Add your file to the Media Uploader and get the URL once the upload is complete.

Then add this URL to the button link href option. When a user clicks they will be taken to the file.

I would suggest a PDF format may work better over a Word file format.

i followed your instructions, but still not working.
it opens up the same page where i clicked from…

i wish that it will work that way:
i click on link that says “download my cv” – when i clicked on it opens window to save the file or open automatically the PDF file.
how can i do that?

the problem is that it refers for a post
and i mean that it will work from the promo bar….
i dont know where to place this plugin in the promo bar so it will work
