Edit 404

Hi.

I’m trying to edit the 404 page via Theme options panel -> 404 page. I simply want to replace the default text with an image so HTML content basically. The problem is there doesn’t seem to be support for HTML even though the description says so “The content that appears on the 404 page, you can use text/shortcodes/html.”.

I know I can use a third-party plugin for this but I’d like to avoid it. I thought I should let you know in case this is a bug and/or if there’s an easy fix.

I tried both WYSIWYG (Add media) and the Text editor (wrote the HTML manually) with no luck. When previewing a 404 page, I simply see the html code in text format.

Definitely an issue. The dev team already fixed it.
Do you want us to send this fixed version or you can wait for the next official update?

It’s only natural with new releases 🙂

What a speedy fix that was!

Anyway, this is a website under development as you can see so you’ll probably release the next update before it’s up and running but if it’s just a matter of updating 404.php or another as simple as that solution, I wouldn’t say no to getting the fixed version earlier 🙂

So if it’s a simple line of code or a single file I need to update by all means. If not, I’ll just wait for the update.
