Dropcaps Issue in blog excerpt

How can I activate the child theme in order to use the code from github, so that the Dropcap can be seen from the blog excerpt ?

Hi,

I am not sure what code you refer to, but to active the child theme you simply upload and active the child theme zip file like you would a normal theme.

Hi,

Just checked your site and that it’s just the normal theme, you need to install and activate a zip that says uplift_child.zip and that’s inside the big zip file that is in the Themeforest download area.

It will not make your site loose any content. Sometimes you need to re-assign the main menu or widgets but that rarely happens.

Is supplied by you in Dante’s theme forum, in order to show the Dropcap on the blog posts excerpt. Or is there another one for UPlift?

No, do not add that. The two themes are hugely different code bases.

Simply add a Custom Excerpt containing the shortcode to your post.
