Do not show the post highlighted image as the post header

Hi!

I like to set a highlighted image in order to see them in the posts carrousel of the homepage: http://beisbolsantboi.com/ and in order to show them in the social networks when the people shares the posts.

The problem is with some post like this one: http://beisbolsantboi.com/calendario-copa-catalana-beisbol-y-softbol-2014_6345/

As you can imagine, I’m not interested in having such a huge image without saying anything more than “scroll deeper in order to find out the post content” to the final user.

Is there any option to disable this on some specific posts without losing the highlighted image?

I’ve tried to set the post format as a “short entry” on the edit post page (“post format.png” attachement) but then the layout goes crazy (“crazy layout.png” attachement).

Hi,

If you don’t want in certain posts means, use the Custom CSS.

.postid-6345 .media-wrap { display: none; }

where 6345 is the page’s ID, or simple don’t attach a featured image, you can set the facebook thumbnail using some plugins like this http://wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-facebook/

Instead of the above code, if you don’t want the large image on your post, you can go to the post meta options to ‘Detail Media’ and set that to ‘none’

Yes we support different post formats however you do this through our post meta settings
