I am reverting back to 1.6 from 1.62 – how do I disable theme update notifications?

Hi,

The simplest way is to alter the style.css version number to latest, if you want any other future updates information means do the below steps..

If you don’t want any updates available notification, then open up functions.php and comment out the line #41 and #42 like this. http://take.ms/raNno

It will still shows the update available even after this, so go to style.css and update the version number to 1.62 hit save, then try to visit the Appearance -> Themes, then revert back the version number to 1.6. It will do the trick.
